Integration of WMS, MRP, and MES modules within the KIM for Manufacturing ecosystem enabled end-to-end digitalization:
•    Real-time data flow between design, warehouse, and production
•    Automatic import of internal and client orders into the cutting and nesting process
•    CNC programs generated and sent directly to production
•    Digital labeling and barcode scanning for full material traceability

Challenge

Although the company already operated with a high-performance ERP system, communication with the production area (shop floor) was not happening in real time. This caused delays in updating raw material inventories and transmitting execution data back to the ERP.

Labor reporting and order status updates were also delayed, reducing process visibility and slowing down operational decision-making.

Material transfers between the warehouse and production areas were handled manually using paper-based consumption tickets, and several information flows still relied on physical documents or verbal communication.

Results

The factory achieved full process fluidity, significantly reducing idle times and increasing overall productivity.
